CO Person attributes (status, timezone) are saved using a form element embedded within the main form on the CO Person canvas. While this works, it produces invalid markup. One solution is to treat the canvas differently from the "edit" view which always wraps a form around the fields content - making it difficult to commingle forms on the same page.
